convert user names to lower case before usage

@captainwasabi I assume the rationale for this is to support systems that use case-insensitive usernames, but I don't think we can do it just like that, by default, in the daemon code as this may have serious consequences for security and integrity of the user database on systems that are case sensitive. Preferably, I would see that conversion applied somewhere in the PAM layer rather than in the daemon itself. |
