About The Project

PLEASE VIEW THIS LIKE A MOBILE APPLICATION. IT WAS NOT MADE FOR DESKTOP.

This is a school project for the HVA. I was tasked with making a feature for a matching application.

My feature is the matching / managing of applications in a job finding app. This application has been made for businesses and individuals looking for a job to match using a tinder-style application for professionals.

An applicant can upload their resume (not in this feature) and click through job offerings that match their criteria. Business can then look at these applicant and either ignore or save them to contacts list, where further contact can take place.

Current features

• The user can generate new applications (for demonstrating purposes).
• The user can either ignore or save an application to their contacts.
• The user can look at their saved applications and remove them from their contacts.

Usage

Download the zip from this repo.

Install node via the command:

node i

Install all the necessary packages with:

npm i

Ask for database credentials or create your own.

To start the application use the command:

npm run dev

You can find the application here: localhost:3000
