ArchitectureTemplate

An Android studio template for creating files which follows app architecture. Read More Here.

Installation

  • Copy the AppActivity folder to Activities directory under Android studio templates directory.

    In Mac :

    /Applications/Android Studio.app/Contents/plugins/android/lib/templates/

    In Windows :

    {ANDROID_STUDIO_LOCATION}/plugins/android/lib/templates/

  • Copy the core folder to your projects package root.

Usage

It is easy and pretty straight forward

  • Open your project in Android Studio.
  • Right click on your project package where you want to create App Activity.
  • Select New -> Activity -> App Activity

Template dialog will popup with the input fields, change the values as per your needs and click on Finish.

Multiple files will be created and all the files will be compatible with the architecture.
