Quay.io does not support multiarch Registry v2 manifests, but docker.io does.
In a mixed amd64 and ARM64 cluster, the
image_archis not the same across all servers, therefore it should not be used in theimage:of aDeployment,DaemonSetetc... This is even more a problem for the CNI.I tested this in a 2 node cluster: 1 ARM64 master and 1 x86/amd64 kube-node:
