The problem description is too hypothetical and you may only get opinions. If you can get precise with examples of what you are referring to, complete with example ingress, example ConfigMap, example http/https request etc etc, then maybe it will will be easier to get precise comments. |

Legacy TLS can be enabled by the config map. This is good for legacy systems, but is enabled globally. This means all Ingress rules allow these ciphers and protocols. Is it possible to enable it in the config map, but not allow it in ingress rules? This prevents insecure traffic to more than needed paths.
