In the old DanNet data, some synsets interset, i.e. their senses overlap.

For example, De Forenede Stater§1 is used in two different synsets.

In some cases this is due to an error, while in others it is due to systematic polysemy. In any case, new senses will need to be generated and the synset-sense relations will need to be remapped accordingly.

Another case is here where the same ontotype and the same sense (different sense, but same label) makes up two different synsets:

Now that #46 has been fixed, some intersections should have been removed. #60 should be fixed next and hopefully this will remove much of the remaining synset intersection.
