I initially installed XDM using the Synology package manager. After the configuration of XDM and such I had a homepage with the XDM banner at the top. I then chose to uninstall XDM and re-install via CLI and via the Git Clone method. Again, this was successful and I could access the application HOWEVER, I wa now missing the XDM banner along the top. As a result, I have to refresh in the Firefox address bar to return to the main screen. I have attached a screenshot as en example. Any guidance would be appreciated.

i had a claim that there is an issue with the XDM logo in the top and firefox
however i could not reproduce the issue

i added a fallback to the image at the top
BUT this fallback is only used if the browser can't use/find the normal source image which might not be the case here so i am not sure it will help

Do you see a big XDM logo on the about / status page ?

I don't see an about status page lol. I should note when I installed xdm
initially as a synology package I didn't have any issues there. I might
just go back to the package install as it didn't have a titlebar issue.
I'll also try the Usenet crawler settings to see if it works okay with the
package. I suspect that my tinkering with previous applications has had an
effect on the system.

Another separate note lol, would you ever consider an android app for xdm?
For sickbeard I had an app called sickstache which let me add new tv shows
and set them to wanted or archived or whatever. I was wondering if a mobile
app was ever on the cards.

the about page can be reached thru the "Status" link at the bottom or under xdm-url/status
OR xdm-url/about (old url)

about mobile apps and an API (which is needed for this). i already thought about this
http://xdm.lad1337.de/application-programming-interface/

the idea is: let it be extendable and don't invent the wheel again
instead i will allow to create plugins that provide API calls

e.g. the SB-API plugin would extend the XDM api in the way SickBeards API works (i guess i will make that one since i helped with SickBeards API) and then you could use your SickBeard App with XDM

how well this will work i have no idea but the basics should work just fine

And if it does not i will at least provide most needed API calls with a CORE-API plugin
this will however not work with current programs since its not invented yet ^^

I've added two lines to the static.py lib in CherryPy to handle the SVG mimetypes properly.
