The extension of a functor F to a functor between categories of homological complex is now defined under the assumption F.PreservesZeroMorphisms rather than F.Additive.


I intend to use this for the construction of flat resolutions of chain complexes of modules. The issue is that the functor which sends a module M to the quotient Free M / Free {0} (where Free M is the free module with basis the set M) preserves zero morphisms, but is not additive.
