Issue that this suggestion fixes

I only use MeetingBar for the full screen notification, so I would like to hide the menu bar item to declutter my Mac.

Solution description

Having an option to completely disable/hide the menu bar item would be great.

Alternatives considered

I am currently hiding it using Bartender but it would be nice not to have to use a separate app.

Hi @FezVrasta,
Thanks for the request. Sorry, but the menu bar item is the only way to interact with the app so it's not a good idea to hide it.

Are you saying my use case is invalid?

Valid :)
In this case, I do recommend using apps like Bartender or Dozer.
These applications hide the status of bar items in a controlled manner. If the MeetingBar disappears on its own, only a full reset will help to open the application again if the settings are incorrect or the integration is out of sync.

What about integration with Raycast? Is the menu bar needed for that?

Never mind, it looks like the existing command simply clicks on the menu items.
