The PDF does not refresh #115
Comments
Hi there - using the same VSLilyPond and PDF Preview versions as @flaudanum above, I'm also running into the same issue, which is a huge bummer because this plugin looks amazing - I legitimately could not imagine a more efficient workflow. |
@t-schreibs , please thumb up my initial post for keeping this thread open. |
Same Issue here! Would be super helpful to have this fixed. |
Heya peeps, sorry for the delay, this year was hard on me in terms of workload, so I promise I'll come back to this when I can |
Nice plugin, it would save so much time if we had an Auto refresh! :) |
Hey! Not having auto-refresh is a huge bummer... has anybody found a way around this? |
I didn't have time to look into this extension to find how to fix it. I have this alternative though: https://github.com/Apostolique/rust-lilypond-invoke-editor The idea is that you can use a general purpose PDF reader that supports auto reload. Under windows there's a protocol for when you click on a link so that vscode receives it. |
Hi Have same issue in a WSL installation using code with the WSL Extension. No Auto update, although with a pure Windows setup it did auto refresh for me. |
I too am having this problem of PDF not reloading. Would love for this feature. |
There's a VS Code command 'Reload Web Views' that refreshes the PDF Preview. I tried automating it with VS Code tasks but I'm not super familiar with how they work. |
Hi,
When I am recompiling, the PDF file does not refresh. I see no error message in the output of VS Code.
Maybe there is something wrong with my setup?
I am using LilyPond PDF Preview v0.2.8 with VSLilyPond v1.7.3.
Any clue?
With the auto-refresh it would be the perfect user experience.
Thanks, great plugin.
Fred
