GEMDOS drive was working >6 months ago. Now cannot find drive error. GEMDOS drive is a good functionality to have as it is possible to auto start the game on the HDD using a floppy with "saved desktop". Much faster access than floppy for larger games.

It looks like it broke somewhere between retroarch 1.9.11 and 1.9.12. I didn't see any commits to the core side during that time period.

Which system were you running Hatari on?

Did some more testing.. GemDos is broken on windows and xbox one. However it works fine on the Wii-U.. Sadly it crashes retroarch on windows and xbox one so it is hard to determine where the error is occuring.

Confirmed working on the Amazon Firestick ( Android ) build as well.

LibretroAdmin added a commit that referenced this issue Sep 19, 2023
Lots of updates.. changes and fixes... MUCH more useable now!  BTW this update fixes issues #88, #84, #83, #82, #77, #74 ( some if which is implemented with an autoload drive B option now), #51.
