Precision High Altitude Star Tracker
PHAST was developed at NASA Goddard as a inexpensive way to use star-tracking to orient space telescopes.
PHAST utlizes the Astromety.Net Plate-Solving framework to determine it's position in the sky. A full list of nessesary depenedencies are:

It is designed to run on linux sytems and has been tested on Ubuntu 14.04. More information will be published in an accompanying paper and extended documentation that is currently in development.
