Apps designed to only work with GNOME should not be expected to work outside of GNOME. You can't expect all other DEs to implement a gnome-settings-daemon plugin. People who use other desktop environments than GNOME should stop using Vino. It's that simple. Either recommend alternatives to vino, or fork it. Vino 3.8 is working perfectly here and without GNOME. |
