Unable to extract images from the Haltadefinizione site #203
Comments
WARNING: Haltadefinizione will insert multiple watermarks into the image at whatever definition you download it. There's no way to remove them from dezoomify b/c Haltadefinizione server inserts the watermarks. You can use graphic editing program to remove them but that is a very time-consuming task. Instruction

Thank you for your very detailed answer! I also manage to find this address using the dezoomify extension and then changing the end of the address. But this address alone does not work, dezoomify-rs indicates an error. Why are you adding "sample.jpg"? THANKS ! |
Sample.jpg is just something I name the file as. The command works on Windows computer. |
I will try on Windows. On other websites, such as "http://closertovaneyck.kikirpa.be/verona/#home/sub=wall&modality=vis", or "https://pba.lille.fr/Collections/Images-en-gigapixels ", the dezoomify extension does not detect anything. I can only find an address "sample.json", with the protocol you told me... |
They all use different technologies. For closertovaneyck, see this comment thread lovasoa/dezoomify#366 (comment) You can search for the site support by clicking on Issues, then filtered by closed or open. |
Great, I managed to download the Van Eycks, thank you! |
Hello,
The dezoomify extension manages to extract the addresses of the images from the Haltadefinizione site. These images are very heavy and the online version of dezoomify fails to find the largest format. Unfortunately, the dezoomify-rs application installed on my Mac does not recognize the image URI. Can anyone help me?
Thanks
