tried the new link but still doesn't work for me!
It prepares to load tiles (0%) and then Error! Am I missing something? I just tried this with generic dezoomer.

My bad, it was a bug with direct links, it's fixed 😃

I've looked at it, and the problem of invalid image is due to not guessing tilesizes correctly.

lovasoa, it's me again. Just noticed you worked on it and fixed the bug. Looks like you made it but me, looks like this site's deepzoom hates me. I tried another link from it, this for example http://bibliotheques.mnhn.fr/EXPLOITATION/infodoc/digitalCollections/viewerpopup.aspx?seid=MNHN_VEL_PORTEFEUILLE010&i=MNHN_VEL_PORTEFEUILLE010_FOL043.jpg
on the online dezoomify but still doesn't work for me. Now, or I did miss something from what you meant above or I should get back to the FAQ? Do I have to change the xy coordinates. I tried it but nothing...still Error!
Can you please help me with this. Please have some patience.
thanks, kris

Just tried, it works. The procedure is simple. As described in the FAQ:

  • Open the network inspector of your browser.
  • Zoom into the image, move inside the zoomed image
  • You will see the URL of the tiles appear.
  • Copy the URL.
  • Paste it into dezoomify. Replace the coordinates of the tiles by {{X}} and {{Y}}. In your example, the original tiles URLs are like http://bibliotheques.mnhn.fr/EXPLOITATION/Infodoc/digitalcollections/tile.ashx?seid=MNHN_VEL_PORTEFEUILLE010&i=MNHN_VEL_PORTEFEUILLE010_FOL043.JPG&x=10&y=13&l=13. So you change it and get: http://bibliotheques.mnhn.fr/EXPLOITATION/Infodoc/digitalcollections/tile.ashx?seid=MNHN_VEL_PORTEFEUILLE010&i=MNHN_VEL_PORTEFEUILLE010_FOL043.JPG&x={{X}}&y={{Y}}&l=13

If you think the FAQ can be improved, do not hesitate to do so.

For your image here is the result:
http://ophir.alwaysdata.net/dezoomify/dezoomify.html#http://bibliotheques.mnhn.fr/EXPLOITATION/Infodoc/digitalcollections/tile.ashx?seid=MNHN_VEL_PORTEFEUILLE010&i=MNHN_VEL_PORTEFEUILLE010_FOL043.JPG&x={{X}}&y={{Y}}&l=13

Works just fine

Great, many thanks, It works but I omitted to say I was trying to do so in chrome. I tried it but it works only in firefox. In chrome it gives blurry tiles result as it processes the tiles... Please verify chrome support.

I just tried in chrome, and it works just fine on my computer. Can you make a separate bug report with detailed information (URL, error message, screenshot, chrome version, operating system...) for the bug in Chrome ?

So strange. Of course I'll do it.
