Separate GPU info from X display info, and don't get device information from X. GPU information from X is wrong if using it over a network [Done in GPU and Display Information #237]
The Computer/Display component of hardinfo is out of date.
Things to work on:
xrandr
for screen resolution information (Don't use GNOME stuff, would fix [from Ubuntu] hardinfo -r from comand line always shows displays in X as 0x0 pixels #200) [Done in GPU and Display Information #237]glxinfo
(doesn't properly identify opengl version #27, fix detection of OpenGL profiles and ARB_compatibility #170 was an attempt, but I don't think a correct one) (GPU and Display Information #237 lists them individually)vulkaninfo
(fix Add Vulkan Information fromvulkaninfo
#171)xrandr --prop
andparse-edid
cat /sys/devices/platform/soc/soc:gpu/drm/card0/card0-HDMI-A-1/edid | parse-edid
)Get vendor-specific information for each GPU:
nvidia-settings -q all -t
&/proc/driver/nvidia/gpus/
vcgencmd ...
