lrsc is the lrs compiler. lrsc is almost identical to rustc but changes the following things:
-
It requires the environment variable
LRS_OBJ_PATH
to be set and will behave as if it had been called with-L $LRS_OBJ_PATH/<target>
. -
If the
--test
argument is given, it will behave as if it had been called with--extern test=$LRS_OBJ_PATH/<target>/libtest.rlib
. -
It behaves as if
-Z no-landing-pads
and-C no-stack-check
had been passed. -
It automatically loads the
lrs_core_plugin
plugin. -
Whenever
core
orstd
are injected, they will be injected aslrs_core as core
andlrs as std
.
The differences between lrsc
and rustc
can be inspected by
comparing the master
and the rustc
branch.
lrsc
is based on the rustc
commit abf60b20a
and will be updated
in irregular intervals. Note that this rust version must be installed before you
can build lrsc
.
Building lrsc
should not take more than a few seconds as it is a rather small
program. To build it, simply use the provided Makefile. Afterwards you should
copy the generated file into dirname $(which rustc)
, as described in the
readme of the lib
repository.
