I've put a layout file in to fix the utf8 problem (32c2b42) but we can do a bit more than that. Do we rip off existing "styling" from lrug.org or do something nicer and then backport that?

Is it just slapping bootstrap on it and picking nice title and body fonts?

Not that much nicer it has to be said, but it'll do as a first pass.

I think this really applies to all of lrug.org - while I have some nostalgic affection for 2005-era 1px dotted red and Georgia, it's a bit tough on the eyes.

Custom fonts and colours are usually enough to make Bootstrap not look like Bootstrap, so that's a fine idea. Or perhaps someone more aesthetically-minded out there fancies donating an hour to it.
