Installation on Windows 8

Chromaria depends on a few third party components that may, in some cases, be architecture-specific. These instructions will help you install these components such that Chromaria can find them without you having to modify any system path variables.

It is possible that some of these components may already be installed on your system. Still, we recommend that you follow each step in order and verify that each component is, in fact, installed as you expect and that you can locate the .DLLs if needed.

  1. Install .NET 4.0

  2. Install Mono using the Windows Installer (includes GTK# and other dependencies)

You should now be able to run the executable included in the build folder. See the following guides for runtime instructions:
