By default lutris is very rude and doesn't ask which language I want its interface to be displayed in. Not only that, there is no option to change the language from lutris settings window.

Please add an easy way to permanently change lutris interface language.

As a work-around, one might try setting a .desktop file to something like Exec=env LANGUAGE=fr_FR.utf8 lutris?

I tried a similar command for the Flatpak version, but got an error "Unsupported locale setting. Fix your locales" (probably related to issue #78 at flathub/net.lutris.Lutris/).

The Flatpak version now supports localization, for native packages, check that is was built with Meson.
