How to prepare a talk by deconstruct.conf
Your ide as a presentation tool by André Staltz.
Main ideas I got form this last resource are:
Two approaches:
- Start with magic, then show them how to make magic.
- Telling a story, like:
- In the beginning, people did things like ___
- Over time, they’ve found solutions such as ___
- Nowadays, we do it like this ___
- Have you ever considered doing it like this ___?
- It would open up this kind of possibilities: ___
- Can you imagine what you can do now that you’ve learned this?
- Build a library without revealing which popular library you are building until the end.
Main point:
Remember those moments when you showed something to a work colleague on your computer screen.
VS Code instead of Keaynote or Powerpoint by @nicoespeon
- Define the goal of your talk: Learn X, Feel X
- The end is a call to action
- Remember about a how the music youtuber gave tips on how to construct a talk for video
Note: Research about Nitia for how to prepare a talk she did that for droidconf 2018
