This project is intended for professional accountants and is based on double entry bookkeeping principles. Currently the beginnings of the database as well as the front end are in place. The UI will be built using DevExpress WPF MVVM components so to participate in development it will be necessary to have a license for them.
I have spent the last six years working on a commercial accounting product and one of my main goals here is to set up the design to overcome some poor decisions that were made in that product's design. I do not have any sort of NDA or Non-Compete in place so there are no covenant violations that I am aware of. Plus, this product will be based on completely different tech than that product.
