This repository contains news tweets starting from January 1, 2020 to March 12, 2021 from top news providers in the Philippines.
The objective of the data extracted using snsscrape is to analyze the state of the Philippines and its priorities throughout its year of being in a lockdown.
Feel free to use the data gathered for other purposes if possible. Tweets include the content, number of likes, retweets, quotes, and replies.
A notebook is present that shows how the tweets were scraped. Python 3.8 is required in using it.
Another notebook is used to compare the total number of tweets to the number of COVID cases in the Philippines, which is outdated.
