The Alternity Helper is a Windows Forms MDI program which is meant for GMs of the pen-and-paper Role Playing Game Alternity. Unlike some other programs, this is not a complete character sheet/recording system, but instead is meant to simplify the task of keeping NPC damage tracks and keeping other information right at your fingertips.

You may access the source code here in the repository, or simply [download the installer](http://andrewbarber.com/Alternity Helper Setup.zip). (Requires .NET 4.0 Client Profile)

Features

  1. Easily keep tabs on the damage track of all NPCs in battle.
  2. Automatic calculation of many properties based on their related items; eg. when you enter stats, the number of actions and resistance modifiers are automatically calculated for you.
  3. Apply adjustments to calculated properties to take into account perks/achievements.
  4. Boxes for weapons and armor, and pre-set lists of common weapons and armor to make adding them quick and easy. Commonly-used data included.
  5. Built-in, Alternity-centric dice roller.
  6. Numerous keyboard shortcuts to make common tasks easier; eg. F5/F6/F7 increase stun, wound, and mortal points, respectively.
  7. Create list of related tools/websites for quick access via the 'Tools' menu.
  8. Easily set and view the primary combat phase each NPC acts in; Click in the appropriate action phase box to highlight it in pink.
  9. Quick-set all NPCs action phases; either set all to the same phase, or enter a common action check roll result to set each NPCs phase based on their action check score.
  10. "Edit Lock" disables many of the quick-edit features, to prevent accidentally changing stats and adjustments by a stray mouse click/arrow key press.
  11. Save NPC templates for later use; Create your NPCs ahead of time, and simply load them up during your action scene.
  12. VoidCorp Employee ID generator
