Scenario : I supplied the three filenames, but forgot to include the command. However, if either the new file or the diff file is missing on disc, that's enough information that jbsdiff can create that file by patching or diffing, respectively.

This version does so, provided the first argument isn't the word diff or patch. It announces its guess (as a reminder) but does not rely on confirmation.

When provided three arguments, and the first isn't a valid command,
CLI assumes diff when the patch file doesn't exist OR patch
when the new file doesn't exist.
