Battle Gear 3 has an US version released by Betson in 2004, using American-style budget/wooden cabinets. Contrary to disclaimers printed throughout the bilingual flyer, it does have Honda cars (contrast to sidebs2u and batlgear, the US versions for Side by Side 2 and Battle Gear 1) and even shown prominently in the cabinet marquee. Since the export BG3 has a notice against exporting that version to the U.S. on startup, it seems to have its own unique region dongle - apparently to show a Japanese model disclaimer, as well to use Betson's North American NESYS (online service, closed after 2005) server.
