@konfiot : Sais-tu s'il y a une API documentée quelque part pour Owncloud News ?

@konfiot

konfiot commented Mar 2, 2014

Hi all,

just wondering if anyone has found a new Android client (ideally opensource) ? Just curious ...
i'm still stuck on EasyRSS which works btu is buggy at times, and could really undergo some reshaping/designing :)

Thanks

Actually never mind my question, sometimes the "unread" view in EasyRSS becomes a little… odd and you have to resync a bit. It didn't even bother me enough to look at the code, haha.

Since that thread is rather old, I was wondering what Android clients are recommended today.
I just tried Feedme but I'm unable to configure it (ref : seazon/FeedMe#688)

The relevant EasyRSS is https://github.com/Alkarex/EasyRSS/tree/master, https://f-droid.org/packages/org.freshrss.easyrss/, sorry about that.

Things that work don't need to be updated.

Things that work don't need to be updated.

Unfortunately, do not work for me 😕
In the service URL field I've tried with the main URL and the API URL without success (connexion failed)
(and the password is OK since I connect with it on the web interface)

Apparently there's one minor issue with EasyRSS: it won't show you your currently configured API URL.

Anyway, I believe you should put the address ending with api/greader.php.

(and the password is OK since I connect with it on the web interface)

That might be the problem. You need to set a separate API password. This dialog is under Settings → Profile.

My FreshRSS WEB acces URL is https://<fqdn>/FreshRSS/
In the address field I've put https://<fqdn>/FreshRSS/api/greader.php (which give a HTTP 404 error BTW)

You need to set a separate API password.

that what I've done too (I even reset the API password and tested with the new one)

I had forgot the "/p/ in the API url (now replaced with https://<fqdn>.myds.me/FreshRSS/p/api/greader.php, no more HTTP 404, just displays "OK")
But same error after adding it

The exact address is listed on the API page (under where you set the API password).

Edit: but "OK" is OK. GH hadn't shown me the second reply.

That one doesn't ends "api/greader.php" as you told me it should.

No, I mean if you click that link it will state the exact address. In principle it should be identical to the same thing with greader.php at the end but what's there will be the exact and proper address. But anyway, that doesn't matter because if it says OK you have the correct address already.
