- led color temperature. Cool white (~6500 k) is better than warm white.
- More light is better. 10w has proven to be a bit too little, especially for low end cameras like the Canon PowerShot series. 20w (often around 1500 lumen) yields much better results.
- The distance between platen and lighting is not long enough in design 0.9.20. This causes somewhat uneven lighting and more reflection. Both get a little better with a somewhat longer distance.
- Paint the silver ring around the lens of your PowerShot camera black with a black marker to avoid any reflections from there. Easy and very effective.
