This is a Next.js project bootstrapped with create-next-app.

Getting Started

To create the next.js app from github

npx create-next-app dmart-admin --use-npm --example "https://github.com/marshall62/dmart-admin" TODO test the above.

Note: I use a .env.local file which is not in github. It sets up the API as my locally running fastApi backend on localhost:8000. If this file is in place it shadows the .env.development settings which have it talking to heroku. If I need to test this, I just rename .env.local to .shmenv.local

First, run the development server:

npm run dev
# or
yarn dev

Open http://localhost:3000 with your browser to see the result.

You can start editing the page by modifying pages/index.js. The page auto-updates as you edit the file.

API routes can be accessed on http://localhost:3000/api/hello. This endpoint can be edited in pages/api/hello.js.

The pages/api directory is mapped to /api/*. Files in this directory are treated as API routes instead of React pages.
