To use tidyREDCap with this project add this line to your .Renvion file:
IDEA_R_Medicine_2023_Public = "C94575BEF917A428CD9E92E5E99F0A5B"
The slides are produced using R Markdown with Xaringan other add-on packages. If you don't have the emo
package you need to get it. You will need to build emo
. That code requires RTools for Windows or Xcode for Mac (it is in the Mac App Store) to be installed on your computer. After adding RTools or XCode run these three lines:
if (!requireNamespace("devtools")) install.packages("devtools")
if (!requireNamespace("remotes")) install.packages("remotes")
remotes::install_github("hadley/emo", quiet = TRUE)
Add a folder data
to the project directory.
After that you will need to pull the data one time. To do that, find the two code chunks that contain # run me once
and run those two code chunks.

In the live class Ray mentioned his keyboard shortcuts. They are described on a post on his Derailment blog. You can read about and download his R, R Markdown and Quarto snippets from the post called Using RStudio Code Snippets Including Quarto.
