SteemJ is a project initiated by dez1337 on Steemit which allows you to communicate with a Steem Node using Java.
SteemJ itself is a wrapper of the Steem-RPC-Api and can be used by third party developers to create new applications based on the Steem-Blockchain. So far, the project supports most of the API calls and is also able to broadcast most of the common operation types and therefore opens a lot of possibilities to Java developers who want to work on the Steem-Blockchain.
