GlobalCityManager ASP.NET CORE 2.0/2.2.4

Final project from Microsoft Learning ASP.NET Core MVC 2.0 course at edX, code: Microsoft: DEV250x

The original code had two namespaces and I had to delete One, also asyncronous programming wasn't included, no styling, no dependency injection, connection string was written directly on code, also there aren't validations or error view. I'm fixing all of this, also I will be trying develop a custom html helper to automaticaly generate a table with the given IEnumerable, with or without Delete and Update operations as table fields.

Advances:

  1. I made all the necessary controllers asyncronous before the first commit
  2. Connection string moved to appsettings.json
  3. Dependency Injection for the DBContext
  4. Because of the Dependency Inyection I wasn't able to create a new context object in views, so I changed the model to a ViewModel composed of a City object and a list of Countries.
  5. Styling with bootstrap and some custom CSS
  6. A prototype for a custom helper to generate a table by getting a IEnumerable<TModel>, is located at GlobalCityManager/Extensions Folder and its implementation is at IndexTesting, both View and Controller for Country model, you can access to the view by this URL: /Country/IndexTesting, or by the Nav Bar option: Country (custom Html Helper).
  7. I've changed the folder structure to add a XUnit Test Project and a Solution file.

Note: The database script is located at wwwroot/files. This is just a test DB, I didn't make it, thats why it doesn't has a proper relationship between the tables, foreign key is missing.
