Browser Push Notifications

Hi at all,
is it normal that push notifications in the web browser arrive with a delay (approx. 20-30 seconds) and in the mobile app notifications arrive immediately? Is there a way to tune this?

The service worker performs an extra request to the server to include more information in the notification, so this may induce a delay, but 20-30 seconds seems like a lot.

Is there a way to track this in the logs?
If I look at Sidekiq's logs, the whole process goes through in the same second:

Oh sorry for the confusion, but “service worker” doesn't refer to sidekiq, but a client-side javascript bit that we use to handle push notifications!

The service worker (client-side), upon receiving a push notification, fetches a more complete version of it through the REST API before displaying it.

Ok, that means I can't influence that on the server side and everything is fine there?
