The two "try a live demo" buttons on mathjax.org visually display the math correctly in Firefox and IE11. However, with NVDA and MathPlayer, they don't speak.
In Firefox (v48.0), it just says "TextFrame".
In IE11 (update version 11.0.33), it seems to be speaking the TeX or speaking the text/leaves with some words dropped. It's definitely not reading the MathML.
This is with Windows 7.
I have attached an image of the page. As can be seen, the AssistiveMathML menu is checked.
