They mention EPD and Python(x,y), both dead projects. Maybe mention Conda and Canopy instead?

I noticed that too yesterday on the plane. And so are scikit-learn's.
I've started working on a fix, and on seriously cutting down the text. I dunno if I'll have time to finish that at ISMB: I suppose this is critical for the release ?

I can add macosx edits to Readme.osx in the next few minutes. Will that step on your toes NelleV ? Anyone else working on this?

The windows docs have been done by @cgohlke. They are in the comment thread to one of these issues.
