In the devdocs gallery, the new linestyles example from #7087 suffers from what seems to be an unfortunate annotation positioning, related to the use of data coordinates along the x-axis : ax.text(-0.5, i-0.4, str(linestyle), ..., ha="right",..., with data ranging from 0 to 100.
