This isn't really an MSC. An MSC is a proposal that describes concretely how a feature will be achieved. It isn't just a feature request. Feature requests should instead be opened as issues on https://github.com/matrix-org/matrix-spec. In addition, as mentioned above, the requested feature already exists in the Matrix spec. |

@hKQwHW FTR, what you'll likely want is element-hq/element-meta#1624, or some variation thereof in your favorite client. This repository is here to propose additions to the specification, what, why, and how. It's up to the clients to implement these features concretely in the end, though in this case it seems there's been a few crossed wires. |
