Lasso tool or option to rotate UMAP #235
Comments
Hi, Oh yeah, we definitely need a lasso tool, I completely agree. Are you a
javascript (or another language) programmer by chance?

Hello,
I was wondering if there is a lasso tool available instead of the
rectangular cell selection tool? Or perhaps an option to rotate the UMAP so
the cells of interest could be more precisely selected?

Sorry, I'm afraid not! I'm biologist turned bioinformatician (only familiar with R) in dire need for a tool like the cellBrowser :) |
I really also want a lasso, but unfortunately there are so many things to
do, notably importaing more file formats (SingleCellExperiment), fixing the
worst bugs with quick genes, improving the UI and the heatmap viewer...
The lasso tool is not super important, is it? Maybe we can suggest a quick
workaround? Do you know that you can add to the current selection by
holding the shift key? In this way you can do multiple rectangles that
usually works OK for me.

Hello,
I was wondering if there is a lasso tool available instead of the rectangular cell selection tool? Or perhaps an option to rotate the UMAP so the cells of interest could be more precisely selected?
