I have fixed up the code that keeps the head straight. I have added a max and min y value as well to help prevent glitchy actions at the extremes of up and down.

there are 2 things that need cleanup, I think, before this gets merged into master:

  1. it doesn't work when gyro-orientation and pan-orientation are both enabled.
  2. there is a bug: if you pan to the top, then do 1 more full screen-width pan up, it glitches and flickers, rotating 180 and back each frame.
