The authenticaton to mediamosa is done via a client login name / password, so in the application using mediamosa you have a client name. Every other part of mediamosa returns a client id however with no way ( that I seem to find ) to map that client id to the client name with which mediamosa connects.
A new rest call or change to an existing rest call to return this information would be very interesting.
We use master-slave settings for a lot of assets and we would like to see if an asset that's returned is owned by the client with which we connect or is owned by another client app.
