SPITE HOUSE V2

This single page application was built on a Rails API backend and a React-Redux frontend found here.

Spite House is, simply put, a negative music review website. Reviews are created by yours truly, (also using the Faker gem in Rails), and future functionality will include a proper domain (spite-house.com), other user input as well as ability to comment.

Installation

Download the code from the frontend and backend Repos here:

$ git clone https://github.com/melchr/react-reviews-frontend.git

$ git clone https://github.com/melchr/react-reviews-backend.git

Set up the database:

$ rails db:migrate $ rails db:seed

Update Gem files: $bundle install

Use $ rails s to start the backend server, and $ npm start for the frontend.
