  • ๐Ÿ‘‹ Hi, Iโ€™m @melissafeeney
  • ๐Ÿ‘€ Iโ€™m interested in all things data science, especially NLP/NLU/NLI, deep learning, and transfer learning
  • ๐Ÿ‘ฉ๐Ÿปโ€๐Ÿ’ป I'm a data scientist at Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger in NYC
  • ๐Ÿ“š I recently earned my graduate degree in data science/quant methods from Columbia University in NYC
  • โœจ My graduate thesis, entitled Domain Generalization Abilities of Aspect-Based Sentiment Analysis Models using Transformer Encodings through Transfer Learning provided me with the opportunity to combine my interests in customer data and natural language processing by considering customer reviews- while getting to research different kinds of transformer-based deep learning language models- I was selected to be part of Columbia's annual MasterSythensis, where I was tasked with presenting my entire thesis research in 3 minutes and while using only one slide- check it out here!
