Problem

  • BB-446: Update deprecated javascript client for ElasticSearch
  • BB-350: Autocomplete gives results that don't seem related
  • BB-219: All areas are now indexed, not just countries.

Solution

  • Updated JS package and related configuration files
  • Improved the autocomplete indexing and search configuration
  • Figured out how to configure timeouts for local development, the blocking factor to indexing all areas
