Hi,

To get the performance we need from git grep, we need literally the latest version of git. I've compiled it in ~toddr, but it's not building right because gettext and libpcre isn't on the box. Could this be corrected please?

I think I need

apt-get install libpcre3 libpcre3-dev gettext

I've installed these on bm-mc-02 - going to leave the ticket open though so I get puppet to do it on all our boxes
