Configure host names on RHEL 6.6

Set up DNS

If you have access to the domain's DNS server, define records for each of the domains listed on the Configure host names page.

Each CEDAR server will require an entry.

Set up local hosts file

If you do not have access to the domain's DNS server, just add the hostnames to your client machine's /etc/hosts file, pointing to the IP address of the host machine.

For the CEDAR public test site this looks like the following:
