Meteor Windows Installer stuck in installation phase

Installer version - 1.0

Operating system - Windows 7 SP1 64-bit

Issue description - The installer downloads the latest Meteor build but then gets stuck in the installation phase. I waited for 30 min to see if it completes but it was still stuck. I tried to download the installer again and restart the installation process but it got stuck at the same point again.

Can you try uninstalling via control panel, deleting your %LOCALAPPDATA%\.meteor folder, rebooting, and then trying to install with the installer again?

I had to stop the installation because it was taking too long but I can delete the ".meteor" folder if it was created and try installing again after reboot.

@abernix I checked for the .meteor folder but it wasn't there. I then rebooted and tried to install. The installer again froze in the installation phase so I cancelled the installation. Here's the log again. Doesn't seem like anything has changed.

Keep in mind that the installer downloads a 100MB installation file, so you should give it time for that as well! :)

No I only cancelled it after it had indicated "Downloading Meteor 100%"

The installation seems to have completed this time. I ran meteor --help and everything seems to be working fine. Sorry about opening this as an issue. I have a 25 Mbps connection here so I usually don't have long wait times for downloads. Anyway, I guess other impatient folks will learn to wait after coming across this issue :)
