From the documentation for the Client type:

A nil Client is usable for sending queries.

This is not true. A pointer to the zero value is usable, nil is not.

Remove this tidbit of documentation

A nil client is wrong. Just remove the sentence instead of coming
up with something that is technically correct, but doesn't read
nicely.
