unknown command "d" for "yq" piping doesn't work for new syntax

In version 3.4.1, I used kubectl get cm aws-auth -oyaml |yq d - metadata.managedFields to remove metadata.managedFields from the output YAML. With version 4.2.1, I tried kubectl get cm aws-auth -oyaml |yq eval 'del(.metadata.managedFields)' and I get the error: Error: open del(.metadata.managedFields): no such file or directory. Does piping from another bash command still work?

you need to provide - to tell it to read from stdin

I guess I missed this in the upgrade docs. It was a little confusing where to add the -. After several tries, this seemed to work: k get cm aws-auth -oyaml|yq4 eval 'del(.metadata.managedFields)' -. Thanks
