This repository now exists to as a record. Active development has moved to this repository: https://github.com/maximombro/Trading-Post-Mark-2 This was done because the system is being rebuilt from the ground up with a more solid plan going into it, though we are using roughly the same technologies.
The Trading Post runtime is for creating a functional Ebay/Craigslist like store front on whatever network you want.

This setup will make your Raspberry Pi be its own Server and Web Host. Essentially, this will allow your server to act on its own without another internet network. However, this does mean it can not be accessed unless you are within the Pi's WiFi range.
- Get a Raspberry Pi 3 (or and older model with a WiFi Antenna, probably)

- Open phpMyAdmin
- Create new database with the name: "items_site_data"
- Click on the new "items_site_data" database
- In the database's window, click on "import"
- Choose the file in "root/databse_configuration"
- Make sure character set is "UTF-8" and format is "SQL"
- Hit "Go" at the bottom
- In "root/tpapi" open "serverInfo.cfg"
- Change the lines in the file to represent your server setup. The lines in order are: ..* Address ..* Client ..* Client Passkey ..* Schema Name (Database Name)
