Using boto for a s3 bucket named with dots, e.g. my.bucket.s3.amazonaws.com fails:

ssl.CertificateError: hostname 'my.bucket.s3.amazonaws.com' doesn't match either of '*.s3.amazonaws.com', 's3.amazonaws.com'
